Toshiba Thrive Tablet Guidelines
(These guidelines will be posted on the cart)
1. ALL APPS must be approved by the teacher before they are downloaded to the tablet.
2. No backgrounds are allowed.
3. Please report any concerns to Mrs. McIntire as this a fluid list and will be ongoing.
4. We will have small t-shirt cloths on the cart for your students to clean the screen at the end of the day.
5. At the end of the day, plug all the tablets back into the chargers in the cabinet.
6. Take them to the teacher using them the next day. (Check the google calendar for this info.)
7. Teacher receiving them should plug them in to charge. The charge takes about 1 hour, you can leave them plugged in all night or if you see all blue lights on the tablets you can unplug the cart.
8. If you see on the calendar that no one is signed up for the next day, you can return the cart to my room, 165.
9. REMEMBER, when signing into this tablet you agree to all internet policies just like on our computers.

Mrs. Yoder projects a custom Acuity test that she created and has her students work through the problems with her on the tablets. Good scaffolding and metacognition was occurring.
Record keeping chart for internet sources found related to topic.
Total engagement.
Using the tablets for research in Mrs.Schuster’ s classroom!
